I travelled to Europe during the Australian winter in 2001. My travels included Japan, England, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and France. It was a full-on schedule and I managed to see and do (and spend) a lot. To experience the difference in cultures was ace but it really made me appreciate Australia and specifically, Melbourne.
