Issue 065 // Haiku
Haiku is a poetic form and a type of poetry from the Japanese culture. Many themes include nature, feelings, or experiences. The most common form for Haiku is three short lines. The first line usually contains five (5) syllables, the second line seven (7) syllables, and the third line contains five (5) syllables. Haiku doesn't rhyme. Most of us would have at one time or another travelled overseas to a foreign destination with the only way of getting from A to B was with your passport. This is a photography dedicated issue working around a particular time. The time 13:00 or 1pm is when you are to take a photo of where you are at that exact time and place. It doesn't matter what day it is, you may be out at lunch, in a cafe, at school, working, in a business meeting, it doesn't matter where you are, every photo will be different no matter where you are located in the world.
