What do you do outside of design?
My second passion music, I run a record label

How would you describe your work?
My work reflects me, my soul, my life, my attitude towards everything that affects or interests me. But most of all I like to compare my work with freedom. In life we sometimes have to live with some restrictions in freedom, and we try to release ourselves from it. In my designs i can totally live this freedom up that we sometimes miss, and also it teaches me how to handle some things in life (more easily).

If there was one thing you could change about the web, what would it be?
Well, I really hate the masses of spam mails, but apart from that I really enjoy the web a lot, there is so much beauty and inspiration out there, and it just offers to so many extra-ordinary talents and artists the chance to present their work to a wide audience, it just fascinates me every day. Although I'm sure i collected about 600 links by now, there is still so much more for me to discover.

Your designs have a unique style, where do your ideas and inspirations come from?
I am inspired all day long by pretty much everything and everyone around me, that's probably one reason why i never pursue and develop only one style... I find it inspiring to combine totally different styles and techniques, and to make them fit together, that has always been a challenge to me.

I am also very much influenced by music, depending on which style of music I'm listening to while designing, this totally influences the designs and even puts them in crazy fresh and interesting directions.

What do you find the hardest thing about design?
Sometimes it is hard to start off with a new design, to do the right steps in the beginning in order to push your creativity into the right direction to make it something special and outstanding.

What would be your ideal job?
For me I already have my ideal job. I am able to earn money with those things that are my biggest passion in life, design & music. What would make it ideal for the future is that I can continue to meet as many people and friends to work and live with, to keep the independence of being able to work in my own rhythm, and to always improve and never stop to learn.

And finally, what do you think of Urban Collective?
I really love and respect UC a lot, sometimes I am really kind of annoyed that I didn't discover it earlier. It's a great playground and showcase for young talents, it's a place to connect with other designers to exchange experiences and share/make collaborations.
