The lies, I hate people who are always jealous of the talented designer. The person individually who spreads rumors and people who are conservative in old design.
Where are you currently working?
Currently I'm working as a junior graphic designer in TREND MATRIX (Clubbing Design, Kuala Lumpur).
What do you do outside of design?
Experimental Design, Interactive Multimedia, Short Film and Graffiti.
How would you describe your work?
Colorful, Logo Head, Mouse and Masked Raider are my design identity. I like to put all of my design elements into concentration to show that's my style and art direction. Last thing, design is alive and relaxed.
If there was one thing you could change about the web, what would it be?
Flash pop-up ads.
Your designs have a unique style to them, where do your ideas and inspirations come from?
Firstly is my sense, based on the target I observe and then I create a brand new style. Secondly I base my ideas on my mood, I take on my mood to express my feelings and to create the design, and if I find that I do a nice design or illustration, this could motivate me to create designs for many days to follow.
What do you find the hardest thing about design?
The hardest thing about design is to find reference, typography, colors, design element and concept and how I'm going to match them all. And the crossover of design I consider the hardest thing for me too.
What would be your ideal job?
My ideal job would be an experimental graffiti artist in Malaysia, trying to explore more street art on “ the traditional-modern art of graffiti”. Maybe creating graffiti could be hard to crossover with Chinese ink painting style, but this will improve my design sense even with my design experience.
And finally, what do you think of Urban Collective?
Nice website! I hope that Urban Collective can organize some sort of the design competition, vote program and forum. Urban Collective also has given me the chance to know more designers from all around the world! Nice graphics, nice website, nice designers… I love you! Urban Collective! |
